AN ACT ELIMINATING RISK REDUCTION CREDITS FOR CRIMES THAT RESULT IN THE DEATH OF ANOTHER PERSON.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 18-98e of the general statutes be amended to prohibit any person sentenced for a crime which resulted in the death of another person from earning risk reduction credit toward a reduction in such person's sentence.
Statement of Purpose:
To prohibit any person sentenced for a crime which resulted in the death of another person from earning risk reduction credit toward a reduction in such person's sentence.
