AN ACT CONCERNING PAYMENT OF STATE INCOME TAX ON CASINO WINNINGS BY OUT-OF-STATE RESIDENTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require out-of-state residents to pay income tax to Connecticut on any money won at a casino in this state.
Statement of Purpose:
To generate revenue for Connecticut and bring equity to Connecticut taxpayers.
