AN ACT CONCERNING SMART GROWTH PRINCIPLES IN AFFORDABLE HOUSING BUILDING PLANS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That sections 8-30g and 8-30h of the general statutes be amended to require that developers follow smart growth principles in any new affordable housing plan.

Statement of Purpose:

To require affordable housing developments to follow smart growth principles.
