To (1) temporarily increase the rates of the room occupancy tax for hotels and lodging houses and the sales and use taxes on the rental or leasing of a passenger motor vehicle, and (2) dedicate the additional revenue generated from such increases to be used for the America 250 semiquincentennial initiative.
