   An act relating to state real property.


	LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST


   SB 273, as introduced, Hueso. State real property: surplus.
   Existing law authorizes the Director of General Services to
acquire and dispose of state real property under specified
conditions.
   This bill would state the intent of the Legislature to enact
legislation that would authorize the director to dispose of parcels
of surplus state real property.
   Vote: majority. Appropriation: no. Fiscal committee: no.
State-mandated local program: no.


THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  SECTION 1.  It is the intent of the Legislature to enact
legislation that would authorize the director to dispose of parcels
of surplus state real property pursuant to Section 11011.1 of the
Government Code.
