An act to amend Section 2148 of the Elections Code, relating to elections.
LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST
SB 1061, as introduced, Laird.
Elections: voter registration.
Existing law requires every high school, community college, and California State University campus to designate a contact person and provide that person’s address, telephone number, and email address, when possible, to the Secretary of State in order to facilitate the distribution of voter registration cards. Existing law provides that the University of California is encouraged to comply with this requirement.
This bill would make nonsubstantive changes to this provision.

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:
SECTION 1.
Section 2148 of the Elections Code is amended to read:2148.
