AB 2591, as introduced, Dababneh. Insurance: electronic

to insurance transactions be made by mail. Existing law authorizes an
insurer, under specified conditions, to provide by electronic

the required offer of renewal or conditional renewal for property
insurance, the required offer of coverage or renewal or any
disclosure required regarding earthquake insurance, the offer of
renewal for a workers' compensation policy, and life insurance
records.
This bill would state the intent of the Legislature to enact
legislation that would expand the authority of an insurer to provide
required documents to its consumers through electronic transmission.
