AB 2520, as introduced, Gabriel. Department of Justice: Office of Access to Justice.
Existing law establishes the Department of Justice, which is responsible, in part, for overseeing statewide criminal justice programs, including the California Criminalistics Institute.
This bill would state the intent of the Legislature to enact legislation that would establish an Office of Access to Justice within the Department of Justice.

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:


SECTION 1.

 It is the intent of the Legislature to enact legislation that would establish an Office of Access to Justice, within the Department of Justice, to triage statewide legal issues.
