LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST
AB 2501, as introduced, Limón.
Bank on California Program: annual report.
Existing law establishes the Bank on California Program within the Department of Business Oversight and requires the department to provide the respective chairpersons of the Senate Committee on Banking and Financial Institutions and the Assembly Committee on Banking and Finance with a brief annual summary on the activities of the program on or before August 30 of each year.
This bill would authorize, but would not require, the department to make the report described above and would delete the August 30, deadline..
