|
A concurrent resolution
promoting the arizona spaying and neutering of animals fund.
(TEXT OF BILL BEGINS ON NEXT PAGE)
Whereas, the legislature has established the Arizona spaying and neutering of animals fund; and
Whereas, the fund is composed of monies collected from the issuance of special spaying and neutering of animals license plates; and
Whereas, overpopulation of dogs and cats in this state is of statewide concern; and
Whereas, sterilizing of dogs and cats would greatly reduce this overpopulation; and
Whereas, public participation in obtaining the spaying and neutering of animals special plates would greatly increase the amount of monies available for use in sterilizing dogs and cats.
Therefore
Be it resolved by the Senate of the State of Arizona, the House of Representatives concurring:
1. That the members of the Legislature encourage the promotion of the Arizona spaying and neutering of animals fund.
2. That the Secretary of State place the contents of this resolution on the Secretary of State's internet website and make copies of this resolution available to public and private organizations for dissemination to the public.
