AN ACT

 

amending title 11, chapter 3, article 1, arizona revised statutes, by adding section 11-423; relating to confidentiality of records.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:

Section 1.  Title 11, chapter 3, article 1, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 11-423, to read:

START_STATUTE11-423.  Assessor; treasurer; confidentiality; e‑mail addresses

A.  The county assessor and treasurer shall maintain the confidentiality of e-mail addresses provided by county residents who request to receive information and notices from these county offices by e‑mail.  

B.  This section does not limit or prohibit the public from inspecting or copying other records pursuant to title 39, chapter 1, article 2 that contain the e-mail addresses provided by county residents. END_STATUTE
