AN ACT

 

Amending Title 37, chapter 4, article 1, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding section 37-805; Relating to Government purchases of private land.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:

Section 1.  Title 37, chapter 4, article 1, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 37-805, to read:

START_STATUTE37-805.  Purchase of private real property; notification

If this state or any county, city, town or other political subdivision of this state purchases private real property, the county recorder of the county in which the deed is recorded shall notify the department of the purchase and provide the department with a copy of the recorded deed. END_STATUTE
