AN ACT
Making an appropriation to the attorney general's office for legal action against the United States forest service for habitat destruction.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:
Section 1. Appropriation; attorney general; legal action; habitat destruction; exemption
A. The sum of $250,000 is appropriated from the state general fund in fiscal year 2012-2013 to the attorney general's office for legal action against the United States forest service for the destruction of endangered species habitat in Arizona caused by the lack of forest thinning and forage fuel removal activities.
B. The appropriation made in subsection A of this section is exempt from the provisions of section 35-190, Arizona Revised Statutes, relating to lapsing of appropriations.
