AN ACT

 

amending Title 15, chapter 2, article 2, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding section 15-249.02; relating to the department of education.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:

Section 1.  Title 15, chapter 2, article 2, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 15-249.02, to read:

START_STATUTE15-249.02.  Salaries of school district employees; posting

On or before September 15 of each year, in addition to the budget information required to be submitted pursuant to sections 15‑904 and 15‑905, each school district shall submit to the department of education a list of the salary of each person who is employed by that school district.  On or before October 15 of each year, the department shall post the salary of each person who is employed by a school district in this state on the department's website.
