AN ACT
amending section 33-1325, Arizona Revised Statutes; relating to the Arizona residential landlord and tenant act.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:
Section 1. Section 33-1325, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended to read:
33-1325. Limitation of liability
A. Unless otherwise agreed, a landlord, who conveys premises that include a dwelling unit subject to a rental agreement in a good faith sale to a bona fide purchaser, is relieved of liability under the rental agreement and this chapter as to events occurring subsequent to written notice to the tenant of the conveyance. He remains On conveyance to the new owner, the new owner is liable to the tenant for any property and money to which the tenant is entitled under section 33‑1321 without regard to whether the tenant RECEIVED written notice of the conveyance.
B. Unless otherwise agreed, a manager of premises that include a dwelling unit is relieved of liability under the rental agreement and this chapter as to events occurring after written notice to the tenant of the termination of his management.
