HOUSE BILL 2600

 

 

 

AN ACT

 

amending title 1, chapter 3, article 1, arizona revised statutes, by adding section 1-309; relating to holidays.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:

Section 1.  Title 1, chapter 3, article 1, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 1-309, to read:

START_STATUTE1-309.  Boy Scouts of America day

A.  February 8, in each year, shall be observed as Boy Scouts of America day.

B.  Boy Scouts of America day is not a legal holiday. END_STATUTE

Sec. 2.  Emergency

This act is an emergency measure that is necessary to preserve the public peace, health or safety and is operative immediately as provided by law.
