An Act
appropriating monies to the department of transportation.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:
Section 1. Appropriation; department of transportation; Clarkdale bridge; reversion
A. The sum of $6,321,360 is appropriated from the state general fund in fiscal year 2023-2024 to the department of transportation to distribute to the town of Clarkdale to replace the current bridge over Bitter Creek wash with a bridge that is suitable for vehicular traffic and to convert the current bridge for pedestrian and bicycle traffic.
B. If the town of Clarkdale receives federal monies for the project described in subsection A of this section, the town of Clarkdale shall revert to the department of transportation an amount equal to the amount of federal monies received but not more than the total amount appropriated in subsection A of this section. The department shall revert the amount received from the town of Clarkdale to the state general fund.
