FLOOR AMENDMENT EXPLANATION

 

 

1. Permits a local authority to determine and declare a reasonable and safe maximum speed limit only on a street, not a highway, that is not maintain by the local authority.

 

2. Changes who may request a speed limit sign to be placed pursuant to this bill from an interested party to a landowner. The speed limit sign must be placed on that landowner’s property.
