"Sec. 6.  Low water urinals; initial implementation requirements

A.  Notwithstanding section 34-402, Arizona Revised Statutes, as added by this act, for the first year following the effective date of this act, only the urinals in the first floor men's restrooms in the house of representatives and senate buildings shall be replaced with water-free or ultra-low water use urinals.

B.  The replacement urinals may be any of the three most readily available types of water-free or ultra-low water use urinals.  The specific models shall be selected based on those units that are adaptable to existing building plumbing and routine bathroom maintenance schedules.  Maintenance personnel shall be trained in and follow the specific unit's manufacturer's maintenance procedures.

C.  The three types of water-free or ultra-low water use urinal units shall either be one-half gallon per flush units, water-free units or semi‑waterless units that automatically use a small amount of water to periodically flush the plumbing pipes."
