AN ACT relating to administration of government; expanding the role of the select committee on school facilities to include community college and state capital construction projects; conforming existing state capital construction provisions to reflect the role of the select committee; renaming the select committee; providing for the appointment of co-chairmen; authorizing additional temporary members of the select committee; providing for expanded duties of the select committee; repealing requirements for quarterly meetings and selection of chairman and vice chairman; amending duties of the state building commission, state construction department and other state agencies with control over state facilities; providing for a study and reports; providing an appropriation; and providing for an effective date.
