A BILL to amend and reenact §64-9-1 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, relating to authorizing the State Election Commission to promulgate a legislative rule relating to corporate and membership organization political activity.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:

ARTICLE 9. Authorization for Miscellaneous boards and agencies to promulgate legislative rules.

§64-9-1. State Election Commission.

The legislative rule filed in the State Register on July 28, 2023, authorized under the authority of §3-8-8 of this code, modified by the State Election Commission  to meet the objections of the Legislative Rule-Making Review Committee and refiled in the State Register on October 25, 2023, relating to the State Election Commission  (corporate and membership organization political activity, 146 CSR 01), is authorized.

 

NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to authorize the State Election Commission  to promulgate a legislative rule relating to corporate and membership organization political activity.
