A BILL to amend the Code of West Virginia,1931, as amended, by adding thereto a new section, designated §18B-14-5, relating to requiring state institutions of higher education to accept vaccine exemptions for religious, medical, or right or conscience.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:

 

ARTICLE 14. MISCELLANEOUS.

§18B-14-5.  State institutions of higher education shall accept religious, medical, or right of conscience exemptions to taking vaccinations.

All state institutions of higher education shall accept vaccine exemptions for religious, medical, or right of conscience for any student attending or living on campus.

 

NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to require state institutions of higher education universities to accept exemptions to vaccinations in addition to the medical exemptions.
