A BILL to amend and reenact §64-9-1 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, relating to authorizing the West Virginia Board of Osteopathic Medicine to promulgate a legislative rule relating to osteopathic physician assistants.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:

ARTICLE 9. Authorization for miscellaneous boards and agencies to promulgate legislative rules.

§64-9-1. West Virginia Board of Osteopathic Medicine.

The legislative rule filed in the State Register on July 28, 2023, authorized under the authority of §30-3E-3 of this code, modified by the West Virginia Board of Osteopathic Medicine to meet the objections of the Legislative Rule-Making Review Committee and refiled in the State Register on September 15, 2023, relating to the West Virginia Board of Osteopathic Medicine (osteopathic physician assistants, 24 CSR 02), is authorized.

 

NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to authorize the West Virginia Board of Osteopathic Medicine to promulgate a legislative rule relating to osteopathic physician assistants.
