A BILL to amend and reenact §64-9-1 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, relating to authorizing the West Virginia Board of Accountancy to promulgate a legislative rule relating to board rules and rules of professional conduct.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:

ARTICLE 9. Authorization for miscellaneous boards and agencies to promulgate legislative rules.

§64-9-1. West Virginia Board of Accountancy.

The legislative rule filed in the State Register on July 24, 2023, authorized under the authority of §30-9-5 of this code, relating to the West Virginia Board of Accountancy (board rules and rules of professional conduct, 1 CSR 01), is authorized.

 

NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to authorize the West Virginia Board of Accountancy to promulgate a legislative rule relating to board rules and rules of professional conduct.
