A BILL to amend the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, by adding thereto a new section, designated §30-17-20, relating to sunsetting the Board of Sanitarians by June 30, 2022.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:

ARTICLE 17. SANITARIANS.

§30-17-20. Sunset provision; effective date.

The state Board of Sanitarians established in this article shall terminate on June 30, 2022, unless continued by the Legislature. Pursuant to the provisions of §4-10-12 and §4-10-13 of this code the board shall commence all necessary activities pertinent to the wind-up of all board related activities. This section shall become effective July 1, 2021.

 

NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to sunset the Board of Sanitarians.
