A BILL to amend the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, by adding thereto a new section, designated §11-16-30; and to amend said code by adding thereto a new section, designated §60-4-24, all relating to exempting commercial airlines from obtaining licenses to serve liquor, beer or wine on flights.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
That the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, be amended by adding thereto a new section, designated §11-16-30; and that said code be amended by adding thereto a new section, designated §60-4-24, all to read as follows:
CHAPTER 11. TAXATION.
ARTICLE 16. NONINTOXICATING BEER.
§11-16-30. Exemption for Commercial Airlines.
Any commercial airline, as defined by 14 CFR Parts 121 and 135, and by section two, article six-h, chapter eleven of this code, that operates in the state is exempt from the licensing requirements of this chapter.
CHAPTER 60. STATE CONTROL OF ALCOHOLIC LIQUORS.
ARTICLE 4. Licenses.
§60-4-24. Exemption for Commercial Airlines.
Any commercial airline, as defined by 14 CFR Parts 121 and 135, and by section two, article six-h, chapter eleven of this code, that operates in the state is exempt from the licensing requirements of this chapter.
NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to exempt commercial airlines from the licensing requirements of the state to serve liquor, beer or wine on flights.
