Summary

The purpose of this bill is to require the West Virginia Parkways, Economic Development and Tourism Authority to transfer one half of one per cent of the gross revenues it receives from operating the highway formerly known as the West Virginia Turnpike to the county commissions where the highway is located. The bill identifies those counties as Kanawha, Fayette, Raleigh and Mercer. The bill also removes obsolete language.
