Summary

The purpose of this bill is to .affirm the right of the Department of Health and Human Resources to subrogation for third-party liability settlements, by recipients who receive assistance under the Medicaid Program. The bill provides that a settlement in the aggregate that does not exceed $20,000 is exempt from the provisions of this section.
