Summary
The purpose of this bill is to eliminate the provisions of Code authorizing state police to inspect vehicle inspection stations, require all vehicle inspection stations to post a surety bond with the Commissioner of Motor Vehicles, and to establish conditions under which an inspection station will forfeit its surety bond and inspection permit.
