Summary

The purpose of this bill is to grant flexibility to the commissioner in the administration of the licensing programs for mortgage lending and brokering as well as money transmission by clarifying who must submit official criminal history information and to facilitate effective and efficient review of license applications. The bill also changes the Division of Banking to Division of Financial Institutions.
