The purposes of this bill are as follows: (1) To provide for service credits, for purposes of public employment retirement, for service in the West Virginia National Guard and Reserve; and (2) to provide for the award of additional testing credit points in civil service examinations for members of the National Guard and Reserve who are applying for state employment.
