The bill directs the criminal identification bureau of the West Virginia State Police to establish and maintain the registry. The bill provides for confidential inquiry of persons on the registry. The bill establishes criteria for placement on and releasing information from the registry. The bill requires prosecuting attorneys to provide certain information. The bill defines terms.
