The purpose of this bill is to provide opportunity for the maximum drawdown of federal dollars for broadband expansion in this state by increasing the amount available for loans for broadband deployment issued by the Economic Development Authority, and to ensure that Board of Treasury Investment loan moneys made available to the Economic Development Authority are managed and spent according to appropriate fiscal and accounting standards.
