HOUSE RESOLUTION NO. 45
Commending Viccellio Goldsmith.

WHEREAS, Viccellio Goldsmith, owned and operated by expert jeweler J. Henry Viccellio III, who has been in the trade for a half-century, has served the York County community for more than 25 years; and

WHEREAS, J. Henry "Hank" Viccellio III was first inspired to take up a career as a jeweler while hitchhiking in Albuquerque in 1973, at which point he began an apprenticeship as a silversmith; and

WHEREAS, discovering a passion for the creative process, Hank Viccellio worked under a number of jewelers for the better part of a decade before studying with a master jeweler in Seattle and in time becoming a master jeweler in his own right; and

WHEREAS, several years after starting his own business, Hank Viccellio transferred his operation and established Viccellio Goldsmith in Yorktown, where he had lived in his youth; and

WHEREAS, Viccellio Goldsmith is distinguished by the handwrought care and attention it gives to each and every piece of jewelry, from unique items for special occasions to classic, everyday articles; and

WHEREAS, Hank Viccellio is a founding member of Yorktown's On the Hill artists' cooperative, and Viccellio Goldsmith has been an integral part of the York County arts community for many years; and

WHEREAS, Viccellio Goldsmith's achievements and longevity in the jewelry business are the results of Hank Viccellio's dedication to his work and his commitment to his customers' satisfaction; and

WHEREAS, Viccellio Goldsmith has decorated and adorned an untold number of customers over the years, helping to make York County a wonderful place to live, work, and raise a family; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED by the House of Delegates, That Viccellio Goldsmith hereby be commended for its service to York County as the business marks more than 25 years in the locality; and, be it

RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the House of Delegates prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to J. Henry Viccellio III, owner of Viccellio Goldsmith, as an expression of the House of Delegates' admiration for his contributions to York County and best wishes for his continued success.
