Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1.  That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding a section numbered 33.1-250.1 as follows:

§33.1-250.1. Vessels making fast to or lying alongside certain bridges.

No regulation promulgated by the Commissioner of Highways or the Commonwealth Transportation Board shall be construed to prohibit the master or owner of any vessel no more than 25 feet in length from making it fast to or lying alongside any bridge forming a part of the system of state highways.
