HOUSE BILL NO. 1278 Offered January 20, 2022 A BILL to condition the conveyance of certain property. ---------- Patron-- Wiley ---------- Committee Referral Pending ----------

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. §1. If the Commonwealth conveys all or part of the parcels described in the deed of gift entered into on December 29, 2004, between Rabbit Creek, LP and the Commonwealth of Virginia, Department of Game and Inland Fisheries to the Shenandoah Valley Battlefields Foundation, any deed related to the conveyance shall include a condition that the property be maintained and open to public use, and shall provide that if such condition is not met, the property shall revert to the Commonwealth.
