Summary
Community Integration Advisory Commission; membership. Expands nonlegislative citizen membership eligibility to include one individual who is receiving or has received services in a state hospital operated by the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services, one individual who is receiving or has received services in a state or private intermediate care facility for individuals with intellectual disability, and one current or former resident of a nursing facility. Under current law, membership includes one individual who is currently receiving services in a state hospital operated by the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services, one individual who is currently receiving services in a state training center, and one current resident of a nursing facility. The bill also extends the sunset for the Community Integration Advisory Commission from July 1, 2016, to July 1, 2019.
