Summary
Sentence reduction; substantial assistance to prosecution; crimes by gangs. Allows a convicted person's sentence to be reduced by the sentencing court if the court determines such person provided substantial assistance in the furtherance of the investigation or prosecution of another person engaged in an act of criminal street gang participation or recruitment of persons for criminal street gangs. Consideration of sentence reduction can occur only upon motion of the attorney for the Commonwealth.
