Summary

Nomination of candidates for political office. Removes the exception by which an incumbent of the General Assembly may determine the method of nomination used by his political party for reelection to his office. If this provision were removed, the method of nomination would be chosen by the political party for that district, which is the current standard in nominations where there is no incumbent or the incumbent fails to make a designation.
