Summary

Property rights of married women. Repeals obsolete provisions in the Code of Virginia relating to property rights of married women. The bill retains provisions relating to (i) a spouse's responsibility for the other spouse's contract or tort liability to a third party and (ii) the abolishment of separate estates, by relocating those provisions to appropriate titles in the Code.
