Summary

Virginia Public Procurement Act; prompt payment for services; certain payments under state plan for medical assistance services exempted. Exempts payments to providers of medical assistance services from the prompt payment provisions of the Virginia Public Procurement Act in cases in which the Department of Medical Assistance Services (DMAS) has initiated an investigation for fraud or abuse or a review of the claim for medical necessity.
