Summary

Ignition interlock violations; venue. Provides that venue for the prosecution of any offense of (i) tampering or attempting to circumvent an ignition interlock system, (ii) starting a motor vehicle equipped with an ignition interlock for a person prohibited from operating a motor vehicle not equipped with an ignition interlock, or (iii) furnishing a motor vehicle not equipped with an ignition interlock to a person prohibited from operating a motor vehicle not equipped with an ignition interlock shall lie in the county or city in which (a) the offense was committed, (b) the defendant resides, or (c) the order prohibiting a person from operating a motor vehicle that is not equipped with a functioning ignition interlock system was entered.
