Summary
Chief Medical Examiner; process for testing certain blood samples. Directs the Chief Medical Examiner (i) to establish a process for the collection and testing of blood samples of a person deemed to have consented to testing in cases in which a law-enforcement officer, firefighter, or emergency medical services provider is directly exposed to the blood of such person in a manner that may transmit human immunodeficiency virus or hepatitis B or C viruses and (ii) to take steps to ensure that all law-enforcement agencies, fire companies and departments, and emergency medical services agencies in the Commonwealth are aware of such process.
