Summary

A bill to block the implementation of a recent presidential proclamation restricting individuals from certain countries from entering the United States. This bill prohibits any federal agency from using any funds, resources, or fees made available by Congress to implement or enforce Presidential Proclamation 9983. The proclamation, which came into effect on February 21, 2020, imposes immigration restrictions on the nationals of Burma (Myanmar), Eritrea, Kyrgyzstan, Nigeria, Sudan, and Tanzania.
