Summary
Amends part A (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families) (TANF) of title IV of the Social Security Act to change from discretionary authority to a mandate that states adopt and enforce standards and procedures to ensure the right and entitlement of victims of domestic and sexual violence seeking or receiving TANF under the state program.
Title
To require States to take certain steps to address domestic and sexual violence among individuals receiving assistance under the program of block grants to States for temporary assistance for needy families.
