Summary

To extend the deadline for commencement of construction of a hydroelectric project. (Sec. 1) This bill authorizes the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) to extend by six years the time period during which Wilkesboro Hydroelectric Company is required to commence construction on the W. Kerr Scott Hydropower Project located on the Yadkin River in Wilkes County, North Carolina. In addition, FERC is authorized to reinstate the construction license if it is expired.
