SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 65
 
 
  In Memory
  of
  Beatrice Valera Molina
 
         WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas joins the
  citizens of San Antonio in mourning the loss of Beatrice Valera
  Molina, who died June 16, 2011, at the age of 88; and
         WHEREAS, Beatrice Valera was born November 25, 1922, to
  Teresa Valera and Jose Valera, Sr.; she grew up in San Antonio and
  attended Fox Tech High School; and
         WHEREAS,
 
 
 
 
         WHEREAS, A devout Christian, she was a longtime
  parishioner and active Altar Society member at the Basilica of
  the Little Flower Catholic Church; she was a devoted mother and
  grandmother whose home was always open to her beloved family,
  especially on Sundays, when she enjoyed cooking and sharing her
  favorite meals; and
         WHEREAS, A warm and gracious woman, Beatrice Molina
  enriched the lives of all who knew her with her love, her
  compassion, and her kindness; she leaves behind memories that
  will be treasured forever by her family and many friends; now,
  therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 82nd
  Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby extend sincere
  condolences to the bereaved family of Beatrice Valera Molina:
  her son, Hector Molina; her daughters, Olga Hernandez, Gilda
  Tumlinson, Belinda Molina, Evelyn O'Leary, and Rita LaCroix; her
  brother, Robert Valera; and her 13 grandchildren and 10
  great-grandchildren; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
 
  and that when the Senate adjourns this day, it do so in memory of
  Beatrice Valera Molina.
