SENATE RESOLUTION
         WHEREAS, Family and friends will long cherish their
  memories of Kay Saxon Moseley, who passed away on June 21, 2021,
  at the age of 74; and
         WHEREAS, The daughter of Aubrey and Minnie Saxon, the
  former Kay Saxon was born in Marshall on January 9, 1947; she
  graduated from Marshall High School, where she was a member of
  the Marshall Mavettes drill team; in 1966, she married her high
  school sweetheart, Bailey Moseley, and the couple went on to
  share a rewarding union that spanned 54 years; and
         WHEREAS, Ms. Moseley was the proud mother of two children,
  Chris and Meredith, and with the passing years, she was further
  blessed with three granddaughters, Saxon, Samantha, and Bailey;
  she treasured the time spent with her family above all else; a
  woman of strong faith, she was a valued congregant of Cypress
  Valley Bible Church; and
         WHEREAS, Kay Moseley led a life of caring devotion to her
  loved ones, and although she is deeply missed, her spirit will
  forever live on in their hearts; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the Senate of the 87th Texas Legislature,
  2nd Called Session, hereby pay tribute to the memory of Kay Saxon
  Moseley and extend sincere condolences to the members of her
  family: to her husband, Bailey C. Moseley; to her son, Chris
  Moseley; to her daughter, Meredith Moseley-Bennett and her
  husband, Jamie; to her granddaughters, Saxon and Samantha
  Moseley and Bailey Bennett; to her brother- and sister-in-law,
  Sam and Kay Moseley; to her nieces and nephews, Woody, Kiki,
  Brad, Madison, and Karis Moseley; and to her other relatives and
  friends; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for her family and that when the Texas Senate adjourns
  this day, it do so in memory of Kay Moseley.
