| WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas takes great | ||
| pleasure in recognizing Derek Ryan Meyer of Brazoria County on | ||
| his high school graduation; and | ||
| WHEREAS, As a homeschooler, Derek has demonstrated his | ||
| determination to accomplish the goals he set for himself, and he | ||
| has fulfilled the requirements for a high school diploma; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Having successfully faced the many challenges of | ||
| a homeschool education, Derek now embarks on an adventure into a | ||
| world for which he is well prepared and that holds countless | ||
| exciting opportunities for him; and | ||
| WHEREAS, The Texas Senate is proud to recognize Derek Meyer | ||
| on his outstanding achievement; now, therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 85th | ||
| Legislature, hereby commend Derek Ryan Meyer for his exceptional | ||
| accomplishments and extend to him best wishes for future success in | ||
| all his endeavors; and, be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for | ||
| this exemplary young Texan as an expression of esteem from the | ||
| Texas Senate. | ||
