| WHEREAS, High school graduation is one of life's pivotal | ||
| milestones, and Peter Thomas Scarborough participated in that | ||
| joyful occasion with his graduation from Stephen F. Austin High | ||
| School in Austin on May 30, 2023; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Although the members of the Class of 2023 will | ||
| soon go their separate ways, the time that they have shared at | ||
| Austin High has created a lasting bond, and the knowledge and | ||
| experiences that Mr. Scarborough has gained there will forever | ||
| enrich his life; and | ||
| WHEREAS, The son of John and Andrea Scarborough, Peter | ||
| Scarborough was a member of the golf team at Austin High, and he | ||
| received an academic all-state award; he further distinguished | ||
| himself through his involvement with the National Honor Society | ||
| and Link Crew; he plans to continue his education at the | ||
| University of Richmond; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Exciting challenges and opportunities await this | ||
| outstanding young Texan, and it is a pleasure to join his family | ||
| and friends in recognizing him as he embarks on a future bright | ||
| with promise; now, therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 88th | ||
| Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby congratulate Peter | ||
| Thomas Scarborough on the occasion of his high school graduation | ||
| and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success and | ||
| happiness; and, be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That an official copy of this Resolution be | ||
| prepared for Mr. Scarborough as an expression of high regard from | ||
| the Texas Senate. | ||
